A computer is like a car and needs regular care and attention in the form of cleaning, tuning and adjusting. You may find that your computer doesn't start up as fast as it used to, or your favourite programs will no longer run, or maybe when you go to the internet you can't access certain websites. Just like your car needs oil and water your computer needs a spring clean to give it a new lease of life.

The IT Hound "Health Check" will:

• Assess and improve the speed of your computer when it starts up and when running programs
• Tidy up your documents, pictures, photos so you can find them more quickly
• Give advice on hardware upgrades to help your computer to run faster
• Run a full virus check to remove where possible any viruses affecting your computer
• Check for malicious spyware on your computer and remove any infections
• Install a software firewall to keep your computer safe from intrusions from the outside world
• Install awarding wining NOD32 virus and spyware checking software if greater protection is required

After a health check visit I will take you through the changes I've made and advise you on what you can do to keep your computer safe, protected and running efficiently. If new software or hardware is required I will notify you in advance.

If your computer has become so infected with viruses and spyware that it is necessary to reinstall Windows, I will ensure all your precious files and programs are backed up so that I can reinstate your computer to exactly as it was before the reinstall.
